Level One Medication Aide
Training is 16 hours over the course of 3 days. A Level 1 Medication Aide (L1MA) is a certified professional who is trained to administer medications in residential care facilities and assisted living facilities. In Missouri, L1MA certification prepares staff to work in facilities that provide care for people with developmental disabilities.
CNA
The CNA training virtual program prepares individuals for employment in a long-term care facility. The program teaches skills in resident care under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
The state approved course requires the individual to complete 75 hours of classroom training, 100 hours of on-the-job training and successfully complete a two-part final examination. The two-part final examination includes a written (or oral) and practicum examination.
CMT
Insulin
Certified Medication Technician (CMT) virtual training program is to prepare individuals for employment as a CMT in an intermediate care or skilled care nursing facility. The program is designed to teach skills in administration of nonparental medications that will qualify students to perform this procedure to assist licensed practical nurses or registered professional nurses in medication therapy.
The course consists of at least 60 classroom hours of instruction and a minimum of 8 hours of clinical practice under the direct supervision of an instructor.

Insulin administration training is a 6-hour course. Included in the Level one medication aide course and an add on to the CMT course. This course educates on diabetes and skills of insulin administration.

Renewals are a 4-hour course. Required by the state of Missouri to remain valid in the system as a level one medication aide. This course reviews all the main topics that were learned in the original course and informs students of any changes to policy and procedures.

Phlebotomy training is a 9-week virtual course. Upon successful completion of a phlebotomy training course, students will earn a Certificate of Completion. Your Certificate of Completion does not make you ‘Certified’. and will be required to register for the national certification test for individuals possessing.
